The club’s membership dues are established each season, based upon the associated cost to operate the club. The club attempts to reduce the fees each year by participating in at least two events throughout the ca lander year with the intention of generating revenue. Individual players can assist in lowering their individual annual membership dues by soliciting extended family members, employers or any business to become a booster. In exchange for their annual donation to our nonprofit corporation, they will receive an opportunity to post an ad within our internet site. The ad will remain on the site for the period of 12 months, until the enrolment of the subsequent year.
Each ad will be placed along the sidelines of a web page. One unit could be published in exchange for a donation of $25.00. Each player could have the opportunity to reduce their annual membership dues with every penny going directly towards the players annual membership dues. Each player will have the opportunity to place 4 units of advertising within the internet site. Therefore, reducing each players dues up to an additional $100.00.
Although the advertising spots are not mandatory, it is an opportunity for some creativity. An opportunity to significantly reduce your annual dues by $100.00. Perhaps individual employers, favorite restaurants visited, favorite entertainment establishments or supportive relatives would assist in keeping a sport alive and give you an opportunity to represent Fort Zumwalt West Inline Hockey Club at a reduced cost.
Many employers are constantly in need of posting help wanted advertisements and or teaser advertisements to generate business.

Congratulations on a great season.
Your, Aunt Betty
Fort Zumwalt West Inline Hockey Club, is a nonprofit corporation registered in the
State of Missouri. The club was initially formed in 1999 by parents of student athletes
to provide an opportunity for the athletes to participate in the Missouri Inline
Hockey Association. Through the years the club has grown to host 6 teams. In February
of 2007, the club became a not for profit corporation and expanded the opportunity
to the middle school student athletes. The club now host 4 levels of play beginning
with 5 grade students through 12 grade students. The club is expected to consist
of 5-
Every year the club attempts to make arrangements with athletes and or parents, to assist with some financial assistance. Being a small organization the assistance has mostly been in the form of extending the payment arrangements. For a few students the sport has been unaffordable, so their participation is limited or prohibitive. The club has begun an attempt to find ways to lower the overall expenses of the operations and overall dues of the members. Although our attempts will be successful in lowering the overall cost, there is still student athletes that will be sitting on the stands due to lack of funds.
We are looking to begin a project that would assist those students in need. The program does not have to become a financial giant on it’s own. But, it would be a pleasure to see those students that have not participated in the past, have the opportunity to obtain a school letter, get their picture in the yearbook and walk the halls with pride knowing that they are part of a school team. As adults, looking back, it always appears that our youth went by so quickly and for some, perhaps you did not take advantage of the opportunities before you. Sometimes the financial needs were not available or perhaps other reasons kept you from participating. But as most of us now know, being an adult shifts the types of opportunities that come our way. Most of us can no longer enjoy that thrill of athletic competition, no matter how strong our memories are. The window of opportunity is now for these student athletes, so help us extend this opportunity to those in need this season.
With the help from boosters, the club would like to offer the opportunity to all student athletes that are in need, that would be eligible and have the desire to participate in our organization. Many of these athletes in financial need, have little opportunity to individually raise the entire cost to participate in the school sport, perhaps due to their age. Although most of our students are of age for employment and come from families that can financially support their experience of participating in athletic competition, some are not as fortunate. For those that can not support the cost on their own and their family can not provide the financial opportunity, a special booster fund could assist these children.
It is our goal to create a program that will raise funds specifically to assist students that are unable to provide the funds on their own. These students will also be required to participate in all of the club’s fund raising event opportunities. Diligence will be performed by the board to apply funds from this program to those of need. If you can see a benefit in assisting a few student athletes with the opportunity to participate, than would you be willing to become a booster of our club?
In exchange we will proudly promote your participation within our club activities and publications, such as this internet site.
