Player's Corner

The club experienced a lot of excitement and a lot of challenges during the past 2007-2008 season. Many of the accomplishments and growth did not come without some frustrations and disappointments. An organization such as ours takes leadership that can not only for see the positives of the path of evolution but the tribulations necessary to overcome along the way. For this very reason, we have called upon a diverse membership to be represented within our board.

It is so very important that the players and parents understand that by being united we can create an organization that the student athletes can be proud of. Divided and we may create simplicity at the risk of opportunity for many.

Last season the club hosted six (6) teams at various grade levels and various skill levels. The club created opportunity for 62 players to represent their school with pride. For this simple fact we had a successful season. If it was only this simple to please so many.

Offers to participate were extended to all parents and players that were interested. The direction of the club's future is soon to pass on to another generation of parents. It will be critical that the expectations of so many be understood so that the direction of the club is successful. The benefits of the club as a united group can accomplish some superior benefits to the student athletes.

We are beginning to embark upon another season and the pains of growth lurk before us. If you have a strong belief in any aspect of the club, than please make your thoughts known. Remember, no question or input is the only bad input or question.

Take part in the many fundraising activities that we have initiated. Some are so simple. Has anyone shopped online for airline tickets in the past 12 months? How about booking a hotel? Did you use Expedia, Orbitz, Southwest Airlines? Did anyone shop at Shnucks Grocery Stores in the past 12 months? How about Wal-Mart, Bass Pro Shop, Macey's? By thinking of our partners through our web site, you can assist us in maintaining our annual fees for participation.

This is your club, not a corporation that benefits corporate executives. This benefits all of the children that participate within this club. So, think about how you can contribute and help us build a foundation that your children and the children that follow can benefit from.
